Heritage Hundred 100m

Celebrating Australia’s oldest open water swim and the amazing history of the Swim Thru Perth, the brand new Heritage Hundred is a fun way to kick off race day with an opportunity to dress in historic or retro swimwear from a bygone era. The Swan River / Derbarl Yerrigan has been an important part of the history of swimming in Perth and this event aims to celebrate that connection. Whether it’s a neck-to-knee suit, a 60s bikini, the original budgies with built-in belt, or a fancy bathing bonnet, don your heritage bathers and celebrate the Swim Thru Perth with a paddle to Tilly the Black Swan Buoy. Held before the main races, entrants can enjoy the fun of the Heritage Hundred as well as their more challenging swim distance.
